I couldn't wait to write this review of Hope because she truly made me feel absolutely amazing on my wedding day! She truly listened to what I wanted and delivered. I actually live in Indianapolis, IN and googled make up artists in the Evansville/Louisville area as our wedding was in Evansville, IN. Hope's name came up and I immediately set an appointment to do a trial run based on her website alone. I had her travel from Louisville to do my make up as well as my mother, mother in law, sisters, junior bridesmaids and bridesmaids(there were 11 of us total and she did all of us by herself). Everyone looked absolutely stunning! People are still commenting on my wedding photos and saying how beautiful everyone's make up looked. She had to work with many different skin types and complextions and managed to make us all feel like models. Hope was so reliable and sweet that the make up was the only thing I didn't worry about with my wedding. She is probably one of the sweetest most beautiful people I've ever met. I am so thankful that we were able to hire for our wedding day. In fact, I am scheduling another make up session with her later this summer so she can show me tips for every day make up! If I could give more than 5 stars for Hope I would. I highly recommend Hope Mitchell Curtsinger for any of your make up needs!...

"Hope did an amazing job with my wedding make-up - from the very beginning I felt like she was listening and taking into account my vision for the look I envisioned. I really appreciated her flexibility given that we were doing two ceremonies, and she totally "got" what I wanted to be different about my look for the two ceremonies. I wanted a really natural look for both ceremonies, and during the practice session, we tried out a few different looks until I was happy. The other thing I really appreciated was that she pressed me for feedback and to be completely honest about what I did and did not like about our practice session - and how I wanted it to be different. And then she changed it PERFECTLY! We wanted a more dramatic look for the indian ceremony and then a softer, more romantic look for the western ceremony, and she was able to transition the make-up seamlessly from one to the other. Importantly, Hope was also super sweet and easy to work with, and a lot of fun! Also totally reliable, she was there early for both ceremonies and stayed late to make sure we were all set. I felt like I was in great, competent hands the whole time.
I honestly cannot think of a better person to recommend for wedding day/any other make-up. Hope - thank you thank you thank you for the amazing job. The day itself, and the photos, turned out exactly how I wanted them to!"
